Whale Watching, Glacier Lagoon, Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Multi-Day Tour Package

This tourpackage does include 3 day tours which have a fixed order.

On Day One you will enjoy a Whale Watching Tour with our partner Elding.

Once on board the tour boat you will find several outdoor viewing platforms, a large indoor saloon with an on board café where you can buy light refreshments, basic bathroom facilities and a cloak room where you can borrow one of our blankets or overalls on colder days. You can either stay outside in the fresh air but you are also welcome to stay inside the heated lounge and observe the views from within, through our large panoramic windows. One of our excellent guides will commentate on the sights and views at hand through the intercom system on board and will be available to you and happy to answer any questions you may have throughout the tour.

The most common cetacean in the area are the Minke whales, White-beaked dolphins and Harbour porpoises. Occasionally we spot other species including Humpback whales, Killer whales/Orcas, Fin whales and Blue whales to name but a few.

Please be aware that the tours are run in wild nature and we can never guarantee sightings on a particular tour. The estimated duration of tours are standard times and can change according to conditions at sea. Although our success rate is high, the cetacean abundance is unpredictable and varies with the food availability of our shores.

Day Two will bring you to the famous Glacier Lagoon. On the way you will also see other sights of the Icelandic South Coast.

Jökulsárlón is one of the most amazing natural wonders of Iceland. Experience a day full of glaciers, icebergs and waterfalls at Iceland's jewel.

This great tour takes us along the impressive South coast of Iceland to the extraordinary Glacier Lagoon. You will have plenty of time exploring the Glacier lagoon with it's floating icebergs. On our drive we will visit two gorgeus waterfalls, Skógafoss with its magnificent 60 m drop and Seljalandsfoss where you can walk behind and through to the other side.

Glacier Lagoon is the largest and the deepest glacier lagoon in Iceland, located in the south east part of Iceland. The lagoon branches from Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of the Vatnajokull glacier the largest glacier in Europe.

The Last Day of this package will give you some time to relax in a natural pool. On our Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Tour you will experience a series of remarkable and diverse sites in the Southwest of Iceland.

Start the day with a leisurely swim in the Secret Lagoon, one of the oldest natural geothermal pools in Iceland, nestled amongst bubbling hot springs and a small erupting geyser. Steam rises from the surrounding geothermal area as you relax in the warm mineral-rich water, which holds at 38-40*C year-round.

Then we embark upon the quintessential Icelandic tour to the Geysir geothermal area in the Haukadalur valley, where the Strokkur fountain geyser spouts water high into the air every few minutes, before visiting the majestic “Golden Waterfall” of Gullfoss, considered by many to be Iceland’s most beautiful waterfall.

Then onward to the historic geological wonder Þingvellir National Park, which is not only the seat of the world’s oldest still-functioning parliament (where the Icelandic Alþingi first convened in 930 AD) but is considered the best place on earth to view the geologic meeting point of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, pulling apart year by year.
