Visiting Jerónimos Monastery was an unforgettable experience. The entry process was smooth and well-organized, which made the visit stress-free from the start. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking—every detail, from the intricate carvings to the grand cloisters, is stunning. It felt like stepping back in time. The atmosphere was peaceful despite the crowds, and there was plenty of space to explore and take photos. Booking through Headout made everything easy and convenient. Highly recommend both the experience and the platform!

We took an audio tour (on our phones) of the monastery. It was well done and informative. The directions weren’t entirely accurate, though, because a few areas are currently inaccessible due to construction work. We had booked the first time slot at 9:30 a.m. and arrived just before 9 a.m., so the line wasn’t a line yet 😊 After the monastery, you can also visit the church, but you have to get in line again outside. It didn’t take that long, though.

The visit to the monastery was spectacular! Headout’s audio guide is wonderful because it gives you detailed instructions on how to navigate the site so you don’t get lost, and it takes you through each area in detail. In addition to covering the architecture and history, it also shares fun facts about the place, which really enriches the visit. The app is easy to use, and they even send instructions to your email. I’ll definitely keep using Headout for my future tours.

There were several people in the line ahead of us but we only had to wait for 10 minutes, not bad. The Monastery is beautiful and very well kept. Also, habing the tombs of very important Portugueses adds to the cultural aspect of the visit. The audio guide provides a lot of good information and it is very easy to use.

I visiting the Monastery and was honestly blown away. The details in the stonework are incredible, and the cloisters feel calm and almost magical. It was a bit crowded, but still totally worth it—definitely one of the highlights of Lisbon for me.

The site was incredibly beautiful and I love the history. I looked up more info when I got home. I wish I had been able to download the audio. Even though we had reservations, the line was very long and we had to wait in the heat without being able to sit down. Then, once inside, we also were not permitted to sit and contemplate the beauty of the site. It is hard for people over 60 to stand on hard surfaces for so long. I would like to have stayed longer and seen more of the monastery.
