The monastery and the castle because we couldn't do the belem tower because it was too crowded and we had to wait more than 2 hours, which was very badly organized. We found that 2 people had to get in while 2 others had to get out. A queue of at least a hundred people...I'll let you do the math we spent the whole day there, so we decided to leave...

The castle itself is an amazing structure but the view from the castle is even more amazing. It is definitely a must-see. Anyone coming to Lisbon must visit the castle first.

Having purchased tickets in advance is comforting knowing you will have access. However there needs to be a separate line for people who have pre-purchased tickets
