The show was spectacular and the main performers really awesome, but you know that. Problem for those sitting in the dress circle was the use of the stage. I get that the performance was to feel like a cabaret club and that the artists were close to the audience, however we struggled with the use of the 'orchestra pit' space as part of the stage. We could not see the performers when they were on the ramp that merged with the audience ! Peolple in front and alongside us were constantly trying to see what was happening and we were in row F. I can't imagine what it was like for people further back. Perhaps the sale of seats should have come with a warning about limited view as it was not ideal. Thanks, Michelle

Coming originally from Thailand, where we don’t get many opportunities to see big international musicals, and now living in Germany, I was really excited to finally see Moulin Rouge in London. I’ve also been taking part in small musical productions in Berlin over the past few years, so I was especially looking forward to seeing a large-scale production. I actually travelled from Germany to London for the show, so I had high expectations, and I can honestly say it was worth the trip! The opening of the show immediately set the mood and pulled me into the story. From the moment the performance started, there was so much energy and atmosphere that I felt completely drawn into the world of Moulin Rouge. I was also lucky with my seat because I had a very good view of the stage and could see the actors’ facial expressions clearly. That made a big difference for me because I could really connect with the characters. The stage design was one of my favourite parts — it was so immersive that at times I felt like I was actually there with the characters. My favourite character was Harold. I liked how the character showed so many different sides of human nature, and I thought the actor portrayed those changes really naturally. The costumes, singing, music, dancing and stage design were all impressive, but for me, it was the combination of the small details in the acting and the way the stage brought everything to life that made the experience memorable. Definitely a special experience and one of the highlights of my London trip.

Absolutely sensational- Moulin Rouge! is not merely a musical but a dazzling sensory experience. From the moment the curtain rose, the magnificent sets, lavish costumes, lighting and exhilarating choreography transported us completely into its world. I especially loved how the production incorporated so many newer songs that were not in the original film, weaving them together with familiar favourites in clever and often surprising ways. Christian was outstanding: charismatic, emotionally convincing and blessed with an extraordinary voice that soared effortlessly through the theatre. The Duke of Monroth was equally memorable, bringing such a commanding and deliciously menacing presence to the stage. The entire cast performed with tremendous energy, but the ensemble numbers were the moments that truly took my breath away - the theatre felt electrified. Spectacular, romantic, funny and gloriously over-the-top, this is everything a West End musical should be. Even having seen Moulin Rouge before, this production felt fresh, thrilling and completely unforgettable. A phenomenal evening that left us buzzing long after the final curtain.

The booking process and actual entry into the theater went smoothly, without any problems. The show was very beautiful and engaging, and it makes you want to sing along with the actors; it started right on time (7:30 PM, watch out, we almost ran late!). After about 1h20, there was a pleasant intermission of about twenty minutes. You can bring drinks purchased at the foyer bar into the theater, which is something I've never seen in Italy... bottles and glasses with beer and various cocktails left under the seats at the end of the show, though... what a shame. 🚫 No filming or taking photos (of course) SPOILER ALERT! The songs are partly from the movie, but many others have been added (both before and after the movie's release), and the lyrics fit very well with the story.

What a wonderful night! We loved the atmosphere, the venue, and the way the performers mingled with the audience, which made the experience feel very immersive. Our seats offered a great view, though they were a little hard, so we may choose seats further back next time. Several songs were incredibly touching, particularly the final number of the first half. All in all, it was a memorable evening that we would happily recommend.

I loved the Moulin Rouge musical. I took my boyfriend with me and he was sceptical about it but afterward he told me he really liked it. I first thought this is a woman musical, but I saw a lot of men too. The show was beautiful, the people could sing really good and we were happy we could order snacks while sitting. In the pictures you can see the view form my seat royal circle chair K9.

What a show!! Such a spectacle with amazing actors and dancers, sublime sets, great singing and so many songs so cleverly orchestrated. One of the best performances we have seen as you fall in love with so many of the characters. This was a thank you gift to my lovely daughter who now works for me, and was her first London work event. Plan this in to any London trip!
