SoloVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Jerónimos monastery was absolutely stunning and I think a priority to see while in Lisbon. It is one of the only buildings to survive the devastating 1755 earthquake in Lisbon. The skip the line was totally worth it (I could only go on a holiday Saturday and we got in very quickly). My tour guide, Joao, was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the Monastery and surrounding area. I also thought the visit to Pastéis de Belém (without any wait) was totally worth it to taste the historic pastery. I really enjoyed the entire tour!LLapert P
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We noticed how crowded the tours were, but the time slot we chose (11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) allowed us to get in without waiting. Despite the construction work outside, the interior of the monastery and the church are still impressive. This was our second visit, and we’re still drawn to this Lisbon landmark and its peaceful atmosphere. Buying tickets in advance on the website is a real plus.GGillian P
SoloVerified bookingJun 20265/5I booked my visit on my last day in Lisbon. I am so glad I went, it is magnificent and worth the money. They queues moved quite quickly so we were not standing for long. I had read it was one of the most important places in Lisbon to visit and when I googled the Headout website came upRRichard M
GroupVerified bookingJun 20265/5The monastery was beautiful. The hallways, the grounds and the inner rooms were all pristine. Because they only allow a certain number of people in at a time, it is never too crowded. Bonus was, to see the church part was free.CClarissa H
FamilyVerified booking3 days ago5/5I was at the monastery with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. We felt so special! They gave us their full support and attention—we’ve never been treated with such care before. And of course, the monastery is beautiful! It’s definitely worth a visit!
