This is really a first class museum! So much to see and all beautifully presented! Many interactive sites and very educational. Took our grandsons who are 10 and 13 and VERY interested in WWII and military history - they loved it!

    Most of the experiences above the intrepid are chargeable, the 4d, the acceleration seats, the submarine and concorde tour. Disappointment. Most of the planes are replicas.

    • Keep in mind that selfie sticks, tripods, and professional photography equipment are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

    • Safety is a priority so access to the Growler is restricted for guests under the height of 1m (3.28ft).

    • Strollers, large bags, and backpacks are not permitted on the Growler.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is mostly wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. However, the submarine, gun tubs, anchor chain room, captain's bridge.

    • Trigger warning: Areas inside the Growler are narrow and may not be suitable for visitors with claustrophobia.

    • Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

    • Children must be accompanied by an adult on the Growler.

    • The Space Shuttle Pavilion is closed until March 25 for the installation of a new exhibit, When We Went to the Moon. This exhibit opens March 25 and runs until September 2.
