The size of it is unbelievable. I can't imagine living in such a compact spaces for months. Cooking for that many people has to be a masterpiece of organisation.

Extremely well laid out and was amazing to speak with the guides that were Veterans and had served in Growler and Intrepid during their Navy careers. The space shuttle display was also amazing, and every display had a personal touch talking about the people who served and their personal photos and stories. Overall an outstanding place to visit! I plan to return!

A fantastic museum for families! My kids loved exploring the aircraft carrier, submarines, and planes. The exhibits are interactive, engaging, and easy for children to enjoy. We spent several hours there and never got bored. Highly recommended for anyone visiting New York with kids.

We had such a great experience visiting the Intrepid Museum with family! Using Headout made the entire process so easy and convenient. There was so much to see and experience, and it ended up being a really fun and memorable family outing. It was the second time we have been to Intrepid and again it did not disappoint. Coupled with Fleet Week and all the associated stands, our time there passed too quickly. Although the weather was not too great, rain after all the sunshine, there was plenty to do inside the ship. It was wonderful to see the tall ships along the quayside. Everybody was so friendly.

Definitely not a place to miss . It's really well organized , lots to see and learn from , the submarine tour was my favorite . The top hangar was also excellent , the space Centre was great . Great to go with your kids . They had such a great time and also learned a lot ....

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that selfie sticks, tripods, and professional photography equipment are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Safety is a priority so access to the Growler is restricted for guests under the height of 1m (3.28ft).

Strollers, large bags, and backpacks are not permitted on the Growler.

This experience is mostly wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. However, the submarine, gun tubs, anchor chain room, captain's bridge.

Trigger warning: Areas inside the Growler are narrow and may not be suitable for visitors with claustrophobia.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.
