Dubbed the “Hollywood of the Middle East,” Motiongate Dubai brings your favorite films to life with rollercoasters, shows, and interactive attractions across five themed zones.

Getting started

Situated in Dubai Parks and Resorts, Motiongate is a 25-minute ride from Dubai Marina. A single ticket grants you full-day access to all rides and shows. Wear comfortable shoes; you’ll be covering a lot of ground, and check showtimes on arrival to plan your day around performances.

What to expect

Motiongate Dubai combines the magic of Hollywood studios with world-class rides. Think of it as Dubai’s answer to Universal Studios, but with shorter lines and more shade. Expect thrilling rollercoasters, kid-friendly zones, character meet-and-greets, and live stunt shows that put you right in the middle of the action.

What to bring

Small backpacks or bags are recommended to carry essentials.

Bring refillable water bottles (up to 1.5 liters allowed), as hydration is key in Dubai’s climate.

Sunscreen and sunglasses are a must for outdoor areas throughout the park (though many attractions are indoors and air-conditioned).

Don’t forget your camera or mobile for capturing memories—personal photography is welcome and encouraged.

Pack light snacks for quick energy boosts, but keep in mind outside snacks may be subject to inspection.

What’s not allowed

Outside food and beverages (beyond water bottles) are not permitted inside the park. You’ll find plenty of dining options inside, from themed cafes to fast food stalls and kiosks.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the park except in designated areas.

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

Certain rides have height and age restrictions for safety; check at each ride entrance or on the park website.

Weapons, sharp objects, and hazardous materials are forbidden.

Drones and other unmanned aerial devices are not allowed for safety and privacy reasons.

Accessibility

MOTIONGATE™ Dubai is committed to inclusivity. The park is wheelchair-friendly, with accessible restrooms and dedicated wheelchair access at most attractions and rides.

They also recently launched a partnership offering on-demand Emirati Sign Language (ESL) assistance via QR codes throughout the park, letting Deaf visitors get ride and safety info in sign language.

MOTIONGATE™ Dubai is officially recognized as an Autism Certified Center, ensuring staff are trained to make visits more comfortable for people with sensory, cognitive, or physical differences.

Service animals are welcome to assist guests with disabilities.

If you require any support, Guest Services is available at the park entrance for assistance and equipment rental.

Additional Information

The park is open daily, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Plan for at least half a day to a full day to experience all the attractions.

Dress for comfort and weather; breathable, casual clothing and comfortable shoes are ideal for walking between attractions.
