Michele was brilliant - really good delivery, constant flow of information. He engaged with questions, about the building materials and design for instance. It was so great that he did NOT waste time finding out or using our names, he did NOT endlessly apologise or make jokes at himself. But he was respectful, efficient - worked around other groups. I learnt so much about Pompei as a trading and business centre, the different lives and deaths of rich and poor.

She explained everything in a very engaging way, with lots of details and interesting facts, and she’s also friendly and very pleasant. We spent the most enjoyable few hours exploring Pompeii with our guide Teresa from Askos Tours, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and as an archaeologist shared her vast and in depth knowledge of the ruins. We chose the tour that included the Villa de Misteria and it was well worth it !! I would highly recommend booking this tour as we would have found it quite challenging navigating Pompeii on our own. ☆☆☆☆☆

It’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.

It is recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and water. Flip-flops are not suitable.

Only small dogs on a leash can be brought inside the park. Guide dogs with a certificate are permitted.
