Plan your visit
The Pavilion Main Entrance
Located on the east side of the fortress, this entrance is for visitors who don’t have a ticket yet or are supposed to collect their QR code-based tickets. There is a restriction on number of visitors per day, so arriving earlier is advantageous. Access Pavilion is where you need to collect your tickets and QR codes. The ticket office opens at 8 AM. The wait time is usually 30 minutes and longer on weekends.
The Gate of Justice (Puerta de la Justicia)
This gate is for visitors who already have a QR code-based ticket. You can swiftly enter through this gate by scanning the code and there's no ticket office here. The queue here is shorter and moves quickly.
Day time visit:
From April 1 to October 14 - Monday to Sunday from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM
From October 15 to March 31 - Monday to Sunday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Evening Visit
From April 1 to October 14 - Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM
October 15 to March 31 - Friday & Saturday: 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Note that you'll have to be present at the gate on give time slot since the palace doesn't allow late arrivals.
Public toilets are available at the Entrance Pavilion, Pavilion of Services, Low gardens of the Generalife and Sultana's Court in the Generalife.
Information desk are located at the Entrance Pavilion and the Services Pavilion.
Only bags smaller than 40 x 40 cm are allowed inside. There are free lockers available inside to deposit your bag. The two access points are 1. Access pavilion with 88×43.5×42 cm Big lockers and 43.5×43.5×42 cm Small lockers 2. Puerta del Vino with 39.5x70x48.5 cm Big lockers and 39.5×44.5×48.5 cm Small lockers.
