The tour with Veronika was a real treat: her English was clear and easy to understand, she structured and presented the key points perfectly, she drew our attention to details we would surely have missed otherwise, and she answered every single question we had. Her friendliness and genuine enthusiasm made not only the Alhambra but also the tour a very special experience for me and my girlfriend. We would book a tour with Veronika again in a heartbeat. We had some trouble with the first instruction regarding ticket pickup. We got the impression that this meeting point was about a 33-minute drive from the Alhambra entrance. However, this was resolved through a phone call with Headout and a follow-up email from the local contact. Since we had traveled to Granada exclusively for this tour, this was a stressful and alarming moment that we would have gladly done without. We weren’t able to relax until we met Veronika at the correct meeting point.

The guide structured and led the tour in a very, very interesting way. He seems to have an excellent knowledge of history, answered questions, and spoke loudly and clearly. Julian, the guide, always kept an eye on the group and, because of the heat, looked for shaded spots when he was explaining things, and also chose very good times for breaks to drink water or use the restroom. He was really very considerate, especially since there were two small children with their parents in the group. I can really recommend this guide!

We were sold a private tour. The booking confirmation stated that the group size would be a maximum of 10 people. But when we got there, there were 20 people!!! The guide sometimes lost track of the group members or walked so fast that it was hard to keep up if you took a little extra time (i.e., enough time) to take a photo.
