The show was fantastic! A classic coming of age story of the haves and haves nots done with modern music for today's taste. Everyone's voice was great. A very moving end performance for the Dallas character. Tears were flowing at times. Highly recommend !! The big fight scene with the rain was fantastic.

The vibrant and uplifting musical score is by Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance, from the band Jamestown Revival, and Justin Levine, winner of a Tony Award for Moulin Rouge! The Musical. The show snagged a 2024 Tony Award nomination for Best Musical and Best Original Score Written for the Theatre—plus a whopping 10 other nods!

The story

The plot revolves around Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade, who are part of a working-class gang in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A classic story of socioeconomic hierarchy, the musical follows the journey of the 2 protagonists as they battle gang rivalry while trying to protect what belongs to them. Will they succeed in creating a good life for themselves? Join them on their journey to find out.
