Both visits to the Pantheon and Castel Sant Angelo were excellent. The Pantheon in particular is such an impressive building and the audio guide that came as part of the package was great in helping to understand it's history. The fast track entry tickets meant that at both sites we gained entry within minutes avoiding lengthy queues. I would definitely recommend visiting both these sites and using these combination ticket to others.

We arrived an hour late because our flight was delayed, but they were kind enough to let us do the visit. We spent two hours there and could have easily stayed for eight because it's a wonderful museum.

Booking the 9 AM slot was hands down the best call we made. The regular ticketing queue outside was already building, but with our skip-the-line tickets, we bypassed the wait and walked straight through the entrance without any hassle. Stepping inside is genuinely surreal. The photos don't capture the sheer scale of the dome, and watching the morning light cut through the open oculus right onto the marble floor is something you have to see in person. We took our time spotting the details—the statues, the old floor inscriptions marking tombs, and Raphael’s final resting place. Even though there were plenty of other tourists around, it never felt chaotic. We found space on the benches near the main altar and just sat in silence for ten minutes taking it all in, which was surprisingly peaceful. Location-wise, it was ideal as well. We finished our visit and walked straight over to Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain.

In addition to being friendly and extremely kind, our hostess was very clear about how the visit would go. She also gave us some practical tips (location of the luggage storage, which entrance to take, etc.), all in flawless French! However, watch out for the meeting point, which was not the one indicated on the voucher: the mentioned location was at the back of the Villa, while the hostess was at the front of the Villa, next to the other agencies offering this type of service.

I went on my own as my husband is more interested in climbing hills than in art. A very beautiful gallery, although be prepared to walk through a park and need your Google Maps to get to the right place. The park is actually wonderful (at least on a Sunday when I was there). I had problems with the audioguide (yet again) as I apparently entered through the wrong door (although it was the only one to my knowledge) so it didn't know where I was. Luckily, I could eavesdrop some guides so I did get some information, but that's not ideal. The artworks are absolutely amazing, and I cried when I saw my first Carravaggio painting. You can wander around on your own for as long as your ticket allows. There are stairs, and if, like me, your mobility is limited, prepare yourself.
