    • Getting there is easy, the museum has a parking garage at the 81st Street entrance and is next to the 81st Street–Museum of Natural History subway stop on the B and C lines.

    • If you are a New York State resident, you can choose your own admission price by showing a valid ID at the ticket desk.

    • You can visit for free during the last hour of the day, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

    • US military members and their families get free general admission during the Blue Star program from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day, plus year-round free entry for military members and one guest.

    • If you are eligible for complimentary admission, carry a valid government ID to confirm your eligibility.
