My grandson adores animals at 6 years of age he teaches me everyday being able to name many animals I have never previously heard of . As such we are working our way around zoos in the UK. We arrived Friday stayed in a hotel in marylebone then took a short bus journey to the zoo really easy to navigate the route arrived just after 11am then spent the next 6 hours touring the zoo. He loved everything about it and didn't want to leave. The only downside was he fell asleep on the journey home meaning I had to carry him and our bags at the end journey but worth every moment to watch his joy. Thank you

Well worth £35. We saw the tiger prowling and eating, the lions sunbathing, the rainforest experience was excellent with monkeys overhead, enjoyed penguins and lemurs being fed, the hippo swimming, giraffes being put to bed. The new African hunting dogs were active, and the gorillas were playful. Listened to a talk on capybaras. The volunteers were brilliant, with help when we got lost. Able to exit without going through the gift shop. Advice would be to find out times of activities with the different animals and focus on a few star items, and gently take in the rest, especially on a hot day.

The visit to the zoo was definitely a 'positive experience,I liked the division of the trails according to the type of animals through the guidance of different colored trails. Also, for some species of course, there is this direct contact which is beautiful. I would have liked,having arrived at a certain point,to be able to take advantage of the 'help of a vehicle to continue the path, because the zoo is really big and x who is not 20 years old anymore can be a challenge to get to the end. Great experience

All the animals were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were not crowds of people so we managed to get around without queues etc in the wheelchair. The zoo itself looked very tired with paint coming off etc. Needs some tlc. Clean and tidy everywhere.

Was avery quiet day in the Zoo as there was a tube strike on, but we were fortunate enough to get there by using DLR and overland trains and a bit of walking. Years since I was last at the Zoo, a pleasant day, like all of these places food and drink was pricey!

i wanted to buy tickets from London Zoon but due to clever search engione [placement ended up buying the from Headout instead which mean that 1) less money went to ZSL and 2) my son who would have got free entry with hsi Blue Peter badge with a proper ZSL tickct did not get one. 5/5 for teh Zoo - 1/5 for thsi misleadign buying experience
