We really enjoyed this tour with our tour guide, Ruth. She shared a lot of interesting information that made each site more enjoyable, and her high level of energy kept us going through a long day of walking and sight-seeing. There was some free time given in Sintra, so we could have lunch and sample some local pastries. Bottled water was sold on the bus, which came in handy because it was so hot that day. It was a very well organized and fun tour. Ideal if you aren't in Lisbon very long and want to pack a lot into a day.

Quão grandiosa foi a construção dos mouros para sua época, bem como, a percepção de se construir uma fortaleza a garantir a proteção da área, o que ainda assim não fora suficiente a sua retomada pelos portugueses.

The actual palace was really interesting and very beautiful. The amount of time spent queuing outside and then again inside despite have pre booked tickets was disappointing and annoying. We felt overwhelmed by the crowds and felt there were too many people admitted at one time and this took the edge off the day.
