The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and the soldiers entering Buckingham Palace. I also went inside Westminster Abbey and saw where Sir Isaac Newton, King Edward III, Queen Elizabeth I, Edward I, and Henry V are buried. I will definitely come back again.

The tour didn't just take us to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace. Our tour guide, Bosa, also showed us St. James’s and told us lots of interesting facts about the shops and gentlemen’s clubs located there. She often spiced up the information with little stories and anecdotes, which made it very memorable for me. During the tour, our requests were accommodated, and we were always given time to take photos. The four hours flew by. For me—and I’d like to thank Bosa again here—it was an all-around successful tour.

Our tour guide, Nathaniel, had a great personality and was so knowledgeable about London and the history of the royal family! We enjoyed every aspect of the tour! The tour included many stops we would not have been able to pick out ourselves with a backstory to go with each one. Between the stories, history, and kindness he showed (taking pictures for the families on the tour, being aware of who his audience was-age, culture, families) I would recommend this tour to anyone! Definitely well worth it!

Interior entry is guaranteed only at the Abbey, not Big Ben or Buckingham Palace.

Safety is a priority, so guests under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

While there is no strictly enforced dress code, please note that the Abbey is a place of worship, and it is better to be dressed modestly.

The Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace only takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; on other days, the tour visits the Horse Guards Parade instead.

Arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start; late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable.

The English, Spanish, German and/or French-guided tour uses a priority group entrance for Abbey entry.

For the Westminster Abbey & Changing the Guard experience, Abbey visits for organ recital, evensong, or mass are self-guided and subject to the Abbey’s schedule; the guide does not accompany you inside.

Changing the Guard is subject to the British Army’s schedule and may change without notice; typically seen on 10am tours on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun.
