Bereits die Website war hervorragend gestaltet – übersichtlich, informativ und mit allen wichtigen Details versehen. Die Tour selbst hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Unser Guide waren unglaublich kompetent, engagiert und mit spürbarer Leidenschaft bei der Sache. Durch die kleine Gruppengröße entstand eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, in der jederzeit auf individuelle Wünsche und Fragen eingegangen wurde. Great tour of Vatican museum, including Sistine chapel, and St Paul's basilica. Giussepe led a group of around 20 and was informative and friendly. We saw so much on this 3 hour tour but he did a great job of highlighting the real noteworthy aspects and held the group together throughout. Highly recommend the full tour as both the museum and the basilica are spectacular.

I didn't like much about it at all. It was super crowded, which was not your fault. However, the guide was very difficult to understand, and she didn't speak with any enthusiasm or interest. She was very knowledgeable but spoke like a robot, so it became very boring quite quickly.

What to bring

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as the tour involves a fair amount of walking

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

Since complete silence is to be observed within the walls of the Sistine Chapel according to the rules of the Vatican, the guides will provide you with information about the site outside the Chapel. Visitors are to maintain silence within the Chapel as well.

Photography and the use of mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, except guide dogs.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

While the tour is not accessible, the Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion.
