The organization of the small-group guided tour in German was perfect. In Vera, we had a very friendly, knowledgeable guide with a deep understanding not only of the history and artists of Florence, but of all of Italy. She explained the most important paintings to us in a very vivid way and provided a wealth of additional information. The tour wasn’t as inexpensive as some others, since there aren’t many German-speaking guides, but it was absolutely worth the money, especially because of the small group. From the booking process right through to the tour itself, there was nothing to complain about. We would gladly book through Headout again anytime.

We took the guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery last Friday, May 22. We met the guide right on time at the agreed-upon location, following a briefing with the staff members who were waiting for the tour participants to explain the procedures. Meeting our guide, Monica, was fantastic—she was knowledgeable, competent, passionate, and engaging like few others in her descriptions of the exhibited works and the artists. Our guide, Pamela, led a very informative German-language tour in a small group (5 people) highlighting the main attractions of the Uffizi Gallery. She did an excellent job of explaining the background and pointing out special features. I really appreciated that she showed us the best spots to view the artworks and encouraged us to step up close to the pieces behind the glass.
