A Positive Experience with One Minor Point to Note We enjoyed the GVB Public Transportation Pass combo ticket, which included a 1-hour canal cruise with Lovers Canal Cruises. The GVB 3-day pass was also very easy to activate, and we were able to choose our own start time. The boat tour was beautiful and a fun way to explore Amsterdam from the water. An extra bonus was the captain, whose hilarious sense of humor created a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommended! One minor drawback was the communication regarding the canal cruise. We didn’t receive the email with the QR code for the boat tour until the day of the cruise. As far as we could tell, it wasn’t clearly stated anywhere that this would be sent only on the day of the tour. As a result, it remained unclear for a moment whether we would actually receive the QR code. The name of the boat company wasn’t mentioned until that same day either. But all in all, it was a very successful combination, with a beautiful boat tour and a particularly friendly captain. 👍

All was good, except a little difficulty in finding the exact boat provider. Advice all to reach already 15 mins prior to the point, the boat doens't wait. Also advice to opt for open boat to feel the breeze and also for better photography. Reflections comes from glass in the VIP covered boat.

Ordering and paying were very easy. The documents arrived very quickly via email and were also available in the app. Using the day pass was very easy. The one-hour canal cruise was a lot of fun; we got to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The boat guide was very informative and shared a lot of additional details. I’d do it again anytime.

The audio guide was available in multiple languages, and it included free headphones even though that wasn't listed in the details. We were able to change the time at the office across from the ship because, after leaving the Anne Frank Museum, it worked out perfectly for us to take the tour at that time, and they didn't have any issues with it. We recommend it.

The boat tour really gave us a good overview of Amsterdam, Anne Frank, and the key sights. Then we went to visit Madame Tussauds, and it was great—the only downside was the crowds.
