“Phantom still delivers the goods! Judging by sheer invention, emotional punch and onstage talent, the venerable blockbuster still beats out almost all of the shipper snappers currently on Broadway. Maria Bjornson's flamboyant gothic design and Harold Prince's fantastical staging still have the gleam of finely polished professionalism.”
– The New York Times
“It's gorgeous nonsense to look at, and in director Joel Schumacher's hands, "Phantom" emerges as one of those queer works of art that actually improve somehow as they get tackier and more removed from the original.”
– Washington Post

Took my parents to ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. Booked tickets on Headout. They followed an excellent redemption process. Their staff member came right on time to deliver the tickets to us just outside the theatre. No queues, no waiting, we were impressed! To top this, the show was beyond compare!
