Set in the early 1970s, a 15-year-old high-schooler is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone magazine about a new rock band. He embarks on an eye-opening journey despite objections from his overprotective mother.

Almost Famous is a musical with an unabashedly big heart! Directed by Tony Award nominee Jeremy Herrin with an inspired score by Tom Kitt. It features classic hits as well as new songs by Pulitzer Prize and two-time Tony Award winner Tom Kitt. The musical tells the story of a 15-year-old William, a hardcore music fan, who lands a great opportunity to chase his passion despite his overprotective mother objecting to him. The musical captures a shining moment of youth, love, and music.
