The set was incredible. I had seen a taped recording of a stage production of Spirited Away but it is another thing entirely to see it in person! The pit was also incredible, some really skilled folks there. I wouldn't recommend sitting in a row higher than R in the Stalls, because the top of the set gets cut off from view. A child sitting in those seats may be able to see it, but I and other adults around me had to duck at times.

As a huge Totoro fan, I absolutely loved this show. It felt truly magical from beginning to end. The musicians were fantastic, the actors made the story feel so real, and the puppetry was incredible. Seeing Totoro come to life on stage was an unforgettable experience. I left with a big smile on my face and would recommend it to any Totoro fan.

The live bunkaru puppetry was just astounding to watch. The girls playing Mei and Satsuki were so energetic to watch onstage, and Joe Hisashi's iconic score was just serene to listen to and watch being played by the live orchestra. Even these words aren't enough to experience the joy of this live extravaganza for all!

Everything! I was in London for the weekend! I wanted to see a show—a musical (a real institution over there)—and this one was magical! The actors are so talented, the sets are magical, and so is Totoro! This musical is the best! Thanks to HEAD OUT for this great tip!!!

It was a magical afternoon. The show is a blend of puppetry and musical theater. The performers themselves don’t sing, but they are accompanied by an incredibly talented singer who performs in the original Japanese. The music is played live, creating some truly spine-tingling moments.

It was amazing, like I was looking the movie. I think that was a place not just for kids but also for adults. I went alone, but I didn't feel that way. The actors are really good, the band was amazing and the singer was exceptional. I want to go back to that day

Very few films are as difficult to bring to the stage as My Neighbor Totoro. Yet this production showed just how beautifully it can be done. The film’s unique atmosphere, the deep emotions it evokes, and its timeless storytelling were brought to life on stage in a way that made me feel as if I were experiencing them for the very first time. My sincere thanks to everyone involved. It was an unforgettable evening that will stay with me for a long time.

Very good attitude from staff, though London was hot and humid. Our seats were in C29,28,27, Gillian Lynn theatre. Nice surroundings. Play at very good atamatronics, things moved about without being intrusive. I prefer musicals the lone singer was good. Actors were good, but no real standout stars. My children really enjoyed it though. They would see it again!
