Hadn't been to the Gillian Lynne theatre before - the layout was good with only mildly restricted view from our seats (which we knew when booking). The show was brilliant with fantastic puppetry. We were wowed by the stage craft and the performances. We are two adults but I will say it seemed very family friendly with booster cushions being offered to smaller audience members.

Our five year old granddaughter recommended we see the film but as we don't have Netflix, I decided to.buy tickets for the family and wanted the grandkids to enjoy a theatrical experience. The storyline was beautiful and yet told in such a sensitive manner for young children to understand. We weren't allowed to take photos during the show and obviously respect that. Our most favorite moment's were Tortoise and the.chickens and goat, so cleverly done. The singer had such a clear and beautiful voice, my granddaughter was humming to the words. We all thought the set changes were amazing and the orchestra most wonderful. Now I have seen the show, I might like to see the film to.see the difference, but I know that all three generations of us enjoyed it tremendously and it was a clever way to show kindness and good human values.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless; the theater itself is beautiful, and despite the large crowds, the logistics were exceptionally well-handled by a warm and courteous staff. As for the production, it was nothing short of dazzling and wonderfully faithful to the iconic film. The actors were extraordinary, employing a unique acting style that seamlessly incorporated physical movements inspired by classic Japanese anime, bringing a mesmerizing energy to the stage. At its core, the story remains as deeply touching as ever—an emotional depth beautifully conveyed through the genuine bond between the two sisters, the stunning lighting design, and the singer's breathtaking live vocals. It was an absolute masterpiece of stagecraft that allowed us to truly feel the magic of the original story.

I got really emotional from the start. Seeing my daugthter's and son's eyes full of happiness to be there and watching something they really enjoy was priceless. We were all very happy and crying even after we were on the street reminding of the show. It was the best family moment in our trip to London! Hope we can watch it again from a better seat soon.

It was spectacular. The music, acting, quality of production and visual effects are top notch. One of the best west end shows. I had 2 children aged 9 and 5. They enjoyed every bit of it. I was enjoyable for the entire family. Very intertaining, funny, emotional. Immersive experience with an explosion of emotions. Worth every penny.
