Elena, the tour guide, was great. She explained the material very competently in excellent English. She was laid-back and personable. The tour could have been a little shorter. Especially at the Alcázar, it was a bit too long for me personally. But I still highly recommend it, especially for people who love history.

Since we arrived knowing absolutely nothing about Seville and the Alcázar, our guide Filippo helped us immerse ourselves not only in the monuments but also in the city’s history, on a truly personalized tour where we felt like active participants rather than just passive listeners. Meet your guide near the main entrance of the Alcázar (the Lion's Gate), where your tickets will be validated. After a brief introduction and security check, your group will set off to explore the city’s most celebrated landmarks that form part of a UNESCO site.

La Giralda: Climb up the Seville Cathedral's bell tower, taking in its intricate confluence of Moorish and Renaissance architectural styles. At the top, enjoy panoramic views of Seville's breathtaking cityscape.

Small group guided tour: Choose to tour the cathedral and its bell tower in small groups of 15 people for more facetime with your giude and the chance to dive deeper into its history.

Bring an original, valid passport or ID card for entry along with your ticket.

You can present your ticket printed or on your mobile.

If eligible for student or pensioner discounts, bring supporting documentation (EU citizens only).

Accessibility

The Alcázar of Seville and Seville Cathedral are wheelchair accessible.

Guide dogs and emotional support animals are allowed within the Alcazar and the cathedral, subject to producing the official documentation.

Wheelchair users are prohibited from climbing the La Giralda.

People with vertigo, claustrophobia, anaemia, tendency to dizziness, heart problems, and/or respiratory problems are advised not to climb the La Giralda.

Additional information

You must arrive at the designated entry point 15 minutes before your scheduled time to complete check-in.

You can visit the Seville Cathedral for free on Sundays (except holidays) between 4:30pm and 6pm, with a prior online reservation.

Visits to the gardens are subject to weather and safety conditions and may be closed without prior notice.

Children under 14 can visit the Giralda always accompanied by an adult.

If you choose a small group guided tour, your group will have no more than 15 people.
