Seville never fails to amaze its visitors, and a visit to the Real Alcázar is no exception! It’s the perfect place to escape the heat, soak up some history, and enjoy wandering through the vast gardens! If you love parks and have some free time, this experience is for you! To see everything at a leisurely pace, allow about 3 hours for your visit, so be sure to book in advance. Until March 31, closing time is 5:00 PM; starting April 1, it’s extended to 7:00 PM! A tip: buy your tickets online! I used Headout for the first time and it was perfect! There were a few issues at the entrance, but it was the guards’ fault—they couldn’t handle the huge crowd of people rushing to visit the gardens… Perfect experience!

You can really feel the authentic atmosphere right from the entrance. Once you step inside, the decorations and ceramics on the palace walls are truly enchanting. And seeing the area where scenes from *Game of Thrones* were filmed makes you feel like you’re in a world of your own. With its lush green gardens and variety of trees, it’s an absolutely magnificent place.

Alcázar Seville: Originally built as a Moorish fort, the Alcázar evolved into a royal palace exhibiting a striking fusion of Mudéjar, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Don’t miss the lush palace gardens, spread across seven hectares and featuring fountains, pavilions, and more than 170 unique plant species.

Seville Cathedral: Enter the world’s largest Gothic cathedral, replete with monumental chapels, intricate altarpieces, and priceless religious relics. The cathedral is also the final resting place of Christopher Columbus, whose ornate tomb is positioned near the south transept just inside the main entrance.

La Giralda: Ascend the Cathedral’s bell tower—formerly a minaret from the mosque that once stood here. As you climb its 35 gently sloped ramps, admire the architectural transition from Islamic to Renaissance design before arriving at the top for sweeping panoramic views over Seville.

People with vertigo, claustrophobia, anaemia, a tendency to dizziness, heart problems, and/or respiratory problems are advised not to climb the La Giralda.

You must arrive at the designated entry point 15 minutes before your scheduled time to complete check-in.

You can visit the Seville Cathedral for free on Sundays (except holidays) between 4:30pm and 6pm, with a prior online reservation.

Visits to the gardens are subject to weather and safety conditions and may be closed without prior notice.

Children under 14 must always be accompanied by an adult.
