Our guide was superb. I am not a great art lover, but she made our tour of Florence's Uffizi Gallery come alive. The time we spent there flew by. Born in Florence, she had a real passion for her subject and was able to communicate that to our group. She made it seem like it was the first time she had done it when she's probably done it hundreds of times. I used to have to do it myself so I can appreciate a wonderfully professional performance. I would highly recommend the VIP small group guided tour of the Uffizi - money well-spent. I would love to mention her by name - I think it was Ilana (???) but we did the tour at 0900 on Friday September 19

The tour was very well organized, skip the line entry with very little waiting time. Pam was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable with a lot of interesting tidbits of information that held our attention the entire time. The guided tour was very well structured to give us the opportunity to see and hear about the most notable artworks within the time available for the guided tour. Of course, we stayed for several hours after that to take in as much as possible. Uffizi gallery is certainly a must-see in Florence. Overall great experience and well worth the visit!

To get an insight into the heart of the Renaissance and see historic rooms. We had a wonderful guided tour of the Uffizi. Our guide Anna was eloquent and she is a magical museum guide. I'm not really an art lover and don't know my way around very well, but she made our tour so interesting that I lost track of time. The time we spent there flew by. Her passion for art and museums was infectious. She was able to convey her expertise brilliantly and with great passion. A very pleasant atmosphere in the gallery. Although we had to wait a little for admission, she bridged the time wonderfully with exciting information and background stories and paid attention to everyone and took us wonderfully into the time of history. We had a wonderful guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery. Our guide Anna was extremely knowledgeable, eloquent and spoke excellent German. She imparted her in-depth knowledge with great passion and created a very pleasant atmosphere. Although we had to wait a little longer to get in, she passed the time wonderfully with exciting information and background stories. We learned an incredible amount and can recommend this guide without reservation!

There was a long delay to get in. More than 1 hour in line! The guide, Pamela was very kind and well prepared but we had to do a rushed tour with little detail. We were not able to take advantage of the services we hired, although not because of her but because of the organization of the Museum and the tour.

What's not allowed

Re-entry is not allowed once you leave the gallery.

Shutterbugs take note, flash photography and drones are prohibited in the gallery.

You cannot bring outside food or drinks into the gallery.

Leave your furry friends behind, the venue does not allow pets except for service animals with advance notice.

Additional information

Every first Sunday of the month, the museum follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.

All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the museum entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.

Please note that all visitors to the museum must go through the security check. At the busiest times, the line for the check takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
