Pro tips to help you make a pick

Standard adult timed-entry tickets were generally in the ~€15–€25 range in 2024. Tickets with audio-guide or flexible terms were usually in the ~€20–€30 range, so compare inclusions before upgrading.

Buy online if possible. Timed-entry tickets usually skip the on-site ticket purchase line, but they do not skip security screening or the elevator queue.

Book sunset slots earlier than morning or mid-afternoon entries. Sunset is one of the most popular times and can sell out, especially on weekends.

Standard admission is usually self-guided with onsite displays. Some ticket variants include a digital audio guide in 10 languages, so check the product details before assuming commentary is included.

Not every ticket includes the added immersive sculpture option. If you want Cloud Cities Barcelona or another immersive add-on, confirm that it appears in the ticket variant name and inclusions.

Plan for about 1–1.5 hours onsite and arrive 10–15 minutes early. The entrance around Plaça de les Glòries can take a few extra minutes to find, and late arrival cuts into viewing time.

If weather and visibility matter, consider a ticket with flexible cancellation or rescheduling. The deck is indoors, but haze and poor light still affect the views.

Check combo and pass math carefully. Some third-party bundles and city passes may include Mirador Torre Glòries, but inclusion changes over time and only makes sense if you already want the other attractions.

About Torre Glòries

Torre Glòries combines an indoor observation deck with a data-art exhibition, so the visit is as much about reading Barcelona as viewing it. The Information Observatory turns mobility, climate, and people-flow data into installations before you ride up. Its enclosed 360° deck then frames the Eixample grid, Sagrada Família, Collserola, and the Mediterranean in one circuit.

Also known asTorre Agbar
Year opened2005

Did you know?

Torre Glòries opened in 2005 and was designed by Jean Nouvel with b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos as part of Barcelona’s 22@ technology district.

The façade includes ~4,500 window openings and a double skin of glass louvers that help regulate light and temperature.

Many visitors still call the building Torre Agbar, its former name when it housed the headquarters of Aigües de Barcelona.

Mirador Torre Glòries is a separately accessed visitor attraction inside the tower; you do not tour the general office floors.

The tower’s exterior LED lighting is sometimes programmed for special color schemes and events, making the building visible as a night-time marker across Barcelona.

Why visit Torre Glòries?

360° Views of Barcelona’s Skyline Landmarks

The enclosed observation deck wraps the tower with floor-to-ceiling windows, giving a full circuit of Barcelona from one level. As you walk around, you can pick out Sagrada Família, the Mediterranean shoreline, Montjuïc, Collserola, and the Eixample grid with its chamfered blocks.

Information Observatory Before the Elevator Ride

Before heading up, visitors move through the immersive Information Observatory, a lower-level exhibition built around Barcelona’s urban systems. Interactive installations turn mobility, energy, environment, and people-flow data into visuals, giving context to the landscape you later see from the deck.

Jean Nouvel Tower with ~4,500 Openings

Torre Glòries was designed by Jean Nouvel with b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos and opened in 2005 as part of Barcelona’s 22@ district. Its façade includes ~4,500 window openings and a double skin of glass louvers that help regulate light and temperature.

Indoor Deck for Wind-Free Viewing

Unlike open-air viewpoints, Mirador Torre Glòries is fully indoors and climate-controlled. It is a comfortable choice on windy, cold, or rainy days, and visitors can take in the panorama without dealing with exposed terraces.

Sunset Slots Show Changing City Light

If you time your visit around sunset, you may see daylight, sunset colors, and early-night city lights in one session. Reviews note that these slots are popular and can feel busier, but they offer the strongest light transitions for orientation and photos.

Plan your visit

Mirador Torre Glòries Visitor Entrance

Located at ground level at the base of Torre Glòries on Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, this is the public entrance for the Mirador experience. All visitors start here, whether they already have an online timed ticket or need on-site purchase. Mobile or printed tickets are scanned at the check-in point, followed by bag check/security and a waiting area for the elevators. Look for “Mirador” signage, as the plaza layout, nearby mall access points, and redevelopment works can make the tower base confusing to navigate. Queues are usually lighter earlier in the day and can build around sunset and on weekends. Elevator-based access suggests a step-free route, but detailed accessibility specifications are not clearly published.

Great tour for someone who doesn't have a lot of time to spend visiting the city. Guide was extremely nice. Would like for app to be more user friendly to follow actual bus while traveling.

I found the organization to be good, the buses well-maintained, and the two routes very comprehensive. I recommend starting with the orange route from the World Trade Center and switching to the green route at Plaça de Catalunya. Once you’re back at Plaça de Catalunya, finish the orange route by returning to the World Trade Center.

Buying the tickets online was a breeze; once you’re at the entrance with the QR code, you get through very quickly. They provided a wheelchair for my mother, and the experience was incredible. I was able to see Barcelona in a whole new light—taking in the entire city was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the 360° tour at the Glories Tower to everyone, both visitors and residents alike.
