I liked that it was in different languages and that headphones were given out along with mini iPads to explain what one was viewing. My appointment was at 4pm but they ket me in at 3:30 to avoid a big group that was entering at 4pm also. Most of the greeters, at least all who I encountered spoke English:blush:

There is a reason Antoni Gaudi is regarded as one of the greatest architects in history. Casa Batllo is one of the finest examples of Modernisme or Art Nouveau, much like the majority of his other buildings. Casa Batllo exudes an interior quality. The skeleton elements of the building are fairly obvious, despite the fact that it is unknown what Gaudi based the construction on. Asymmetry is a trait of the structure. There are several parts of the structure that you must explore. Here are some of them.

The Facade

This peculiar aspect of Casa Batllo is visible in the majority of images of the building. When creating Casa Batllo, Gaudi went completely off the rails with the concept of asymmetry, as is evident from the exterior facade. The first level's galleries, the main floor, and the lower ground floor all appear to be connected by wavy lines.

Patio De Luces

The Patio De Luces, which circulates the air and light that penetrate through the main skylight, is a crucial component of the home. To assure that natural light would enter every area of the house, Gaudi enlarged the terrace. In order to ensure that the light was distributed evenly, he additionally ornamented it with tiles of various blue tones.

Noble Hall

The Noble Floor, which contains a singular hall that embodies modernism's pinnacle expression and explains how the bourgeoisie of the day lived, is located in the very center of the home. Large oak doors with organic curves that Gaudi inserted stained glass panes into and a completely wavy ceiling that symbolizes the power of the sea are among its standout features.

The Terrace

The dragon's back, a commonly recognized feature of the façade and one that Gaudi represented with variously colored tiles, dominates the roof terrace. The four crooked, multicolored chimney stacks on the roof terrace, which were built to stop backdrafts, are the main architectural feature. Beauty and utility are once again combined here.

The 10 D Experience

This brand-new interactive offering elevates museum visits to a whole new level. With the most cutting-edge technology, this 10D experience in Barcelona plans to take you on a sensory journey inside the brilliant mind of Antoni Gaudi. Indulge yourself in the brand-new galleries designed by the Chesneys studio and architect Kengo Kuma.

Barcelona Zoo

Over 400 different types of animals are housed in the roughly 13 hectare Parque Zoológico de Barcelona, totaling over 5,500 animals. The zoo area is a part of Parc de la Ciutadella, and it was previously used for the Universal Exhibition of 1888 before the zoo opened in September 1892. The zoo is made up of a number of different parts, including exhibit areas that display the flora native to the animals' habitats in addition to the fauna of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles.

PortAventura Park offers six themed worlds to explore. Experience exhilarating rides including Shambhala, the tallest roller coaster in Europe. Explore Ferrari Land's 70,000 square meters in its entirety. Riding Europe's highest and fastest vertical accelerator. View the thrilling 570-meter race track, which is entirely suitable for children. Use the genuine F1 simulator to have your heart pounding with adrenaline.
