Visiting the London Eye with my son was a really enjoyable experience from start to finish. The whole process was very well organised, and although we expected long queues, the waiting time was actually quite reasonable and moved along smoothly. Once on board, the atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and pleasant, giving us plenty of time to take in the incredible views across London. Seeing the city from that height was impressive, especially being able to point out famous landmarks together. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the visit, which made the experience even better. Everything felt safe, clean, and professionally managed. It was a lovely way to spend time together and create some great memories. I would definitely recommend the London Eye to families or anyone visiting London for the first time, as it offers a unique and memorable perspective of the city.

From the very first moment I arrived in London, I felt the unique energy of this incredible city. During my sightseeing tour, I visited many famous landmarks, admired the historic architecture, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere everywhere around me. You say to yourself - ah, it's probably just some tourist attraction. I don't need to do that. There's so many other sights and sounds in London. And there are. But you're wrong. There's something quite magical about slowly rising above the traffic, above the river, above Big Ben and the Palace. Soon to be able to see all of the land on both sides of the River. Buildings and parks and pathways. During the day, it's a bird's eye view of the City. At night, it's a show. Great experience and a souvenir for a lifetime. Worth the price! Very nice, communicative staff. They even thanked me in my native language, which was very lovely. Very comfortable and safe, beautiful views of the whole city. The slow ride gives you the opportunity to admire the views from every side. The possibility of taking a souvenir photo is a great idea! Christmas lights: Make the most of extended hours until 8:30pm available on select December evenings. Gaze down upon the city’s twinkling streets, festive markets, and lit-up tree displays, creating a scene straight from a Christmas card.

Festive atmosphere: The surrounding Southbank transforms into a holiday haven lined with charming Christmas stalls, warm seasonal food, and joyful carols. The Eye itself glows with special holiday-themed lights, adding to the magic of your ride.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted inside the attraction for security reasons.

Pets are not allowed on this experience.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the capsules or on the boarding platform.

Accessibility

The London Eye is wheelchair accessible. Please note that only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and a maximum of eight wheelchairs in total are allowed on the London Eye at any one time.

Additional information

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times.

Infants aged 2 years and under ride free but must still reserve a ticket.

Extended opening hours until 8:30pm are available on select December dates during the Christmas season.

Carry a printout of your voucher and hop on to the bus from any stop on the route. The driver will exchange it for the bus ticket.

Validity

Valid for 1 day from first use. The ticket expires 12 months from the date of purchase.
