Situated between New York City and Philadelphia with direct access off I‑195, Six Flags Great Adventure delivers a full day of coasters, characters and family fun across the Great Adventure Resort in Jackson, New Jersey. The park’s midway rhythm blends headline thrills, live entertainment and kid‑focused play.

    Features

    • Thrill seekers find range and variety across more than a dozen coasters. Nitro defines the hypercoaster experience with a 233‑foot lift, a 215‑foot first drop and mile‑long airtime at up to 80 mph. El Toro combines classic wooden aesthetics with modern precision, delivering a 176‑foot drop at a 76‑degree angle and sustained airtime across its out‑and‑back course. Jersey Devil Coaster elevates the single‑rail sensation with a 130‑foot lift, an 87‑degree first drop and three inversions in nimble, single‑file seating. DC™‑themed experiences round out the lineup, including THE FLASH™: Vertical Velocity—North America’s first super boomerang installation—alongside park favorites like BATMAN™: The Ride and JUSTICE LEAGUE™: Battle for Metropolis.

    • Families have plenty to enjoy together. Bugs Bunny National Park anchors a cluster of kid‑size attractions themed to the Looney Tunes, while family coasters and classics—HARLEY QUINN™ Crazy Train, Runaway Mine Train, Skull Mountain and the Giant Wheel—offer approachable thrills and sweeping views. Throughout the day, shows and seasonal offerings add atmosphere across the park, giving every age group an easy way to join the fun.

  • What to bring

    • Dress for a full day outdoors at Six Flags Great Adventure. Think light, breathable clothing and comfortable sneakers are ideal for walking between attractions.

    • If you’re planning to enjoy water rides like Roaring Rapids, bring a poncho or quick-dry clothes.

    • Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a refillable water bottle to stay comfortable throughout the day.

    What's not allowed

    • Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted, except for specific dietary needs or infant food.

    • Loose articles are not permitted in certain ride queues or on any rides and must be left with non-riders or secured in lockers.

    Accessibility

    • Strollers are allowed inside the park but may need to be parked outside certain attractions—look for designated stroller parking areas near ride entrances.

    • Service animals are welcome in most areas of the park but are not permitted on rides. A non-rider must stay with the animal while you’re on the attraction.

    • Ride accessibility varies by attraction. Guests using mobility devices may be required to transfer to the ride seat independently or with assistance from a companion, depending on safety requirements.

    • Many amusement rides use manufacturer-designed safety systems built to accommodate people of average physical stature and proportion. These systems may limit the ability of some individuals to safely ride.

    • Guests of larger or smaller size; guests with heart, back or neck conditions; pregnant guests; guests recovering from recent surgery; and guests with casts, braces, restrictive devices or certain disabilities may not be safely accommodated.

    • For detailed information on accessibility services and accommodations for mobility, visual, auditory, or cognitive needs, it’s best to review the park’s official accessibility guidelines before your visit.
