The Budapest Danube River Nighttime Sightseeing Cruise was an amazing experience. The city looked absolutely magical at night, especially the Parliament building and the bridges lit up beautifully. The boat was comfortable, clean, and warm, and the staff was polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the smooth ride along the river. This cruise is perfect for anyone visiting Budapest & relaxing, romantic, and a great way to see the city from a different viewpoint. Totally worth it!

A 1-hour Danube river tour at sunset for a very good price. You see the main monuments on the banks of the Danube illuminated. Option to go under cover seated, or standing outside. The audio guide does not always switch on automatically when you are at the appropriate monument, and there could be outdoor seating for comfort. The indoor seating is quite uncomfortable as well.

It is an experience that can not be described, totally necessary if you come to Budapest. My advice, take it at night and keep in mind that at 22:00 they turn off the lights of the city. You also have an audio guide that explains in several languages what you are seeing along the tour. The boat has bar service and is not too expensive.

Punctual departure, clean ship, friendly staff. The ship tour is interesting, we start on the Buda side in front of the parliament, which in the evening hours, lit up, is a sight not to be missed. The Chain Bridge is lit up in purple and is very impressive, I was impressed by the view of the Whale, which seems quilted with lights.... Simply wonderful!

With the cruise you see Budapest in its best light. The staff and navigation were excellent but the audio guide leaves something to be desired. Also, the second part of the cruise is less scenic than the first, but this I think is the common route for all operators.

What to bring

Don’t forget your trusty earphones for an immersive audio guide experience.

Dress warmly in winter months and carry a jacket or layers during evenings, even in summer.
