Budapest Danube River Nighttime Sightseeing Cruise

The nighttime Danube river cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. Seeing the city illuminated from the water is absolutely stunning — the Parliament, Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle look incredible at night. The boat was comfortable, with both indoor seating and outdoor areas offering great views. Everything was well organized from boarding to the end of the cruise, and the pace of the tour was perfect — relaxing and enjoyable. A welcome drink was included, which was a really nice touch and made the experience even more pleasant as we enjoyed the views and took photos. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Budapest, especially for a first-time visit. It’s a unique and unforgettable way to experience the city.

We took the boat trip at the beginning of February this year. We bought tickets for €12 and, what can I say, it was definitely worth it! The upper deck is open, so it was very cold, but there were blankets available to take up with you free of charge. Downstairs, there is plenty of space in the warmth with drinks and even a few snacks. The salami pizza was amazing! The views you get, especially on a night cruise, are spectacular. The Parliament is of course the number one attraction. We would definitely do it again!

The Danube cruise in Budapest was a magical experience, made even more special by the Christmas atmosphere that enveloped every detail. Cruising through the city's already gorgeous lights, while admiring the illuminated Parliament and Buda Castle from the boat, was truly exciting. On the ship, the large decorated Christmas tree created a warm and festive atmosphere, perfect for getting into the holiday spirit.
