We booked a tour of the Parliament and a Danube river cruise. I highly recommend both tours. The Parliament is breathtaking. The interiors are beautifully preserved. The multimedia guide was very user-friendly, with lots of interesting facts not only about the stunning building itself, but also about the history of Hungary. The Danube cruise is at its most beautiful in the evening, when you can admire the gorgeously illuminated city, including its landmarks and of course the Parliament building. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience with a night view of the city with all the lights on. In particular, the evocative view of the parliament building with its striking lighting, and all the illuminated bridges as well. The view of the city all lit up is truly worth it.

It was a lovely experience and a pleasant cruise up and down the Danube to see some of the sights all lit up after sunset. Eric the tour did a great job informing us of the long history of Hungary and other 'tit-bits'. A hour went all too soon.

Absolutely amazing experience! The Danube cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. Sailing along the river while admiring the beautifully illuminated Parliament, bridges, and historic buildings was simply magical. Enjoying a drink on board made the experience even more special. The views of Budapest at night are breathtaking and truly unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organized, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff made us feel very welcome. If you do only one sightseeing activity during your stay in Budapest, make it the Purpleliner Danube River Cruise—hands down, this was the best money I spent in the entire city. The breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline from the water are unmatched, and the central, hassle-free departure spot made boarding an absolute breeze. The boat was extremely comfortable throughout the entire trip, and to top it all off, our tour guide was a complete 10/10—engaging, informative, and making the experience unforgettable from start to finish.

Budapest at night is the most beautiful city and looks like it is painted with light. Can't think of a better way to enjoy it than from the Danube! Boat dock was easy to find. Best part was the English speaking guide, Eric. He was incredible. He told the story of Budapest with passion and humor. Best history lesson I've ever experienced. I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely take it again.

The guide was superb and explained the history and significance of each building in Hungary very well. We especially enjoyed the top deck, which was perfect for taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful views. The vibes were amazing, and so was the cruise! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest. 🇭🇺✨🚢
