We had a wonderful visit at the Globe. Our tour guide Jacob??? Was excellent, probably one of the best ones I've ever had and I've been on hundreds of tours. What a beautiful place to visit and we had a great time. Loved the gift shop too.

It is not a tour of back stage but more the history of both the Globe Theatreand William himself. Be sure to leave enough time to go through the exhibit area. It was better than expected

As a on-time theater major, I thought I kndw quite a bit about the Globe Theatar. I've also read Hamnet and have seen the movie. But surprise! Our terrific guide at the New Globe Theater kept me engaged and learning new things about life at the original Globe throughout the entire tour. As an actress, she was a talented and experienced story-teller. And as an expert on Shakespeare and the Globe, she never missed a beat. Our group threw many off-the-wall questions at her but she knew the answer to every one of them. Additionally, the structure of the tour was just right for our group, which consisted primarily of older people including retirees. The duration of the tour and the amount of time we spent in the theater seated and listening was well thought-out. Thank you to everyone at the Globe!
