museums I’ve visited in Australia. The exhibitions are modern, interactive and really well designed for both adults and kids. The Triceratops fossil is absolutely incredible and worth the visit alone — seeing such a complete real dinosaur skeleton up close is something special. I also loved how the museum mixes science, nature and history with hands-on displays that keep you engaged instead of just reading panels. The spaces are spacious, well organised and easy to explore without feeling overwhelming.

Food & beverages are not allowed on this experience.

Flash photography is strictly prohibited at the venue.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

The museum is autism-friendly, with sensory maps and social scripts.

There are tactile indicators in the elevator, and the exhibitions have components for the vision-impaired.

Additional Information

Children under 17 years enter free of charge but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

On the first Saturday of every month from 3pm to 4.30pm (excluding school holidays), Scienceworks will operate in low sensory mode.

Loud sound effects and music will be muted, and bright or flashing lights will be dimmed in all galleries included with the museum entry.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
