Visiting the Pantheon in Rome was an unforgettable experience. This place impresses not only with its incredible history but also with the overwhelming sense of grandeur you feel the moment you step inside. The massive dome with the open oculus lets in natural light that changes throughout the day, creating a magical atmosphere that feels alive. I stood still for a while, simply taking in the silence and imagining all the centuries that have passed within these walls. Even though there were many tourists, the Pantheon still gave me a surprising sense of peace and harmony. It was very easy to buy tickets on the website, directions to the meeting point clear and the staff was there on time. Very helpful skip-the-line tickets in the afternoon at 3:30 pm on Saturday, with the sun beating down on the square and the crowds ! Highly recommend !

It was not clear for the first time that what I received was not tickets but a reservation. We had to download the correct tickets again before entering. Because of this, we stood in three lines to enter because the museum staff could not help us.

Over the course of its 2000-year old life, the Pantheon has changed several avatars. It was initially commissioned by ancient emperors as a polytheistic temple, defying primeval engineering standards and eventually changed into a Christian basilica!
