GroupVerified bookingOct 20253/5We used Headout to purchase two guided tours in Rome (the Catacombs of Domitilla and the dome of St. Peter's Basilica). In the catacombs we were looked at rather surprised at the ticket office, then the gentleman must have taken pity and printed us free tickets. The guided tour of St. Peter's with the dome was cancelled the night before, apparently the basilica was supposed to be closed unexpectedly that morning. A Whatsapp message came saying they would refund the money, we are still waiting. Maybe it's just bad luck at the Vatican and a badly interpeted situation in the catacombs, but even given the rather vague conditions and instructions I won't be using Headout anymore. We bought our tickets in advance with the idea that we had no chance of getting anywhere else in Rome, but both the catacombs and the dome can be bought on the spot and the admission is even lower (catacombs 10 euro, dome itself 10 by stairs or 15 by elevator and the basilica is free). In the Vatican, you just have to expect longer waits due to inspections. Otherwise I definitely recommend both places, especially the catacombs are amazing, if a bit out of hand.VVuillaume A
