Experience the best of RiseNY

The experience begins with a short film about New York City's evolution inside a recreation of the original City Hall subway station. The film is by Ric Burns and James Sanders and is narrated by Jeff Goldblum, giving the attraction a defined introduction before the galleries and ride.

Between the film and the ride, RiseNY moves through seven compact galleries themed around finance, film, fashion, music, skyline, TV/radio, and Broadway. These rooms include artifacts along with interactive and photo-style elements tied to the city's cultural and media identity.

The finale is a suspended simulator ride that lifts guests about 40 feet and uses motion, wind, scents, and sound effects to simulate flying over New York. It is the attraction's main ride element and the final stage of the fixed visit sequence.

The ride does not stay focused on a single district. Its visual sequence travels across all five boroughs and runs through a year of celebrations, giving the ending broader city coverage than a Times Square-only attraction.

RiseNY is designed as a 45- to 90-minute indoor stop rather than a full-day attraction. Its location at 160 West 45th Street places it within Times Square and Theater District walking range, so it can slot into a broader Midtown itinerary.
