SoloVerified bookingLast week5/5I arrived late because the 435 bus wasn't running, so I took the 434 bus since someone told me it would be a 5-minute walk—but in the end, I had to walk 20 minutes. It's okay, though, because they let me in at the last minute. I’m really glad I got the audio guide because Quinta da Regaleira is very large, and it helped me figure out what to see in a specific order more easily and avoid getting lost. I found the audio guide very useful and interesting! (Especially the little tips.) I really liked the first cave, which is bright inside, and the passages and caves that seem secret (the labyrinth cave is scary, but I thought it was super cool to go through it). Quinta da Regaleira is well worth the price—there’s so much to discover. The Headout website offers tips for your visit (wear appropriate shoes since there’s a lot of walking, bring water, sunscreen, etc.). I chose the 12:30 p.m. time slot and was able to finish everything by 5:40 p.m. (while taking lots of photos and taking a short break to sit down). I don’t regret booking through this site at all—especially since the audio guide is just an extra €2!AAnkur S
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Visiting the Pena Palace and Park, as well as the Quinta da Regaleira, was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. The Pena Palace is impressive even from a distance, with its vibrant colors and extraordinary architecture. From the top, you have a beautiful view of Sintra and the surrounding area. The adjoining park is very large, well-maintained, and perfect for leisurely walks through nature. We were particularly captivated by the mysterious atmosphere at Quinta da Regaleira. The underground tunnels, hidden paths, and the famous Initiation Fountain make this place truly unique. There are interesting details to discover everywhere, making you feel almost as if you’re in a fairy tale. Both attractions are definitely worth seeing and offer a great blend of history, architecture, and nature. Anyone visiting Sintra should definitely not miss these places.KKrum G
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Visiting the Pena Castle and gardens and the Quinta do Regaleira was a highlight in our Lisbon trip. The forests and parks of Sintra with their great diversity of trees and plants offer great pleasure for lovers of nature. Combined with the historical input of the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle, the delicous shops, restaurants and pastry shops downtown and the Romantic gardens of Quinta with their fountains, labyrinth, warwrfalls and caves offer a perfect one day getaway from Lisobon. The trafic in the town is very heavy with buses, tuka tuka, cars, cyclists and pedestrians all going around the narrow streets up and a parking spot is also not very easy to find. Having bought tickets in advance saved us time and having to wait in line.LLauren P
FamilyVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5Very honest review from bringing our 3 children ages 9mo, 2yo, and 4yo. The actually sites themselves are great. Very fun walking down into the well and through the tunnel. Cool views of the palace. Absolutely awful parking situation. Road was closed so have to park about 1-2 miles away. Took a cab where the driver said they would drop us off 6min away but actually did a big circle and dropped us off about 15 min away from the front still. Bought cut the line tickets. Did little to nothing. Definitely prepay tickets though. We were told not possible to drive yourself there but honestly it was better driving a rental car then hiring a company.IIgor F
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5My experience was incredible; thanks to all the guidance from Headout, I was able to get organized and make my way to Pena National Park in the best possible way. As soon as we arrived, everything went very smoothly and quickly because we already had our tickets. The palaces were not only beautiful but also made me reflect deeply on the origins of their construction and the decorative style, given the limitations of that era. The audio guide helped us understand and appreciate every detail, which made the experience even better. I’m very satisfied; I’ll return with memories rich in experiences and photographs.
