It’s supposed to be simple, after all. But since we were charged twice on our credit card for our 48-hour pass, we didn’t think that was right. The system is actually supposed to be secure enough to prevent something like that from happening. This was the first time it happened to us in Amsterdam. In other cities, such as Barcelona, Vienna, Prague, etc., it has always worked, and we’ve never been disappointed.
    • Explore Amsterdam stress-free with unlimited travel across the city’s public transport network for 24 to 168 hours—no need to buy separate tickets!

    • Hop on GVB trams, buses, ferries, and metros with one pass and save up to 60% on transportation while touring the city at your leisure.

    • Airport transfers are now made easy with access to Bus 369, which runs every 15 mins between Sloterdijk and Schiphol, and yes, it’s included with your pass.

    • Set your schedule and go! Your GVB pass activates automatically at your pre-selected timeslot. Enjoy 24 to 168 hours of unlimited travel starting exactly when you need it.

    • Enhance your experience by upgrading with multilingual audio guides that covers Amsterdam's top 100 attractions and experiences.

    • Validity: Pass valid for 24/48/72/96/120/144/168 hours (as per option selected)

    • Access to:

      • Unlimited travel on all GVB trams, GVB (night) buses, GVB metros, and GVB ferries

      • Bus 369 from Sloterdijk to Schiphol Airport (every 15 mins)

    Additional paid upgrades:

    • Audio guide in German, English, French, Italian & Spanish
    • Access to regional buses (Connexxion, EBS, and Syntus) or the train (NS/Dutch railway)

    • Round-trip transfers from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on the regional train (NS/Dutch railway)

  • You can cancel these tickets up to 24 hours before the experience begins and get a full refund.

The trams were always on time and ran at frequent intervals. Unfortunately, the scanner often didn't work right away. The QR code needs to be larger in Apple Wallet to be recognized at all. Scanning takes too much time and takes too long—especially on the tram. Strict checks are important and necessary, but digital codes aren’t yet the best solution for this.

Public transportation is on time and very clean. However, there were some issues with the QR code on my phone screen during check-in. We briefly held up traffic because the QR code wasn’t recognized. After a few attempts, we tried a different door. At the doors with the least scratched windows, though, the scanner works on the first try. Still, it’s 100% better than in Germany.

The transportation service offered fully meets my expectations. The ticket booking system is simple and efficient. It worked perfectly when I used the transportation services. I highly recommend using Headout for your trips in Amsterdam.

The trip to Roelof Hartplein went without a hitch. On the way back to the Uithoorn tram/bus station, we were faced with a 60-minute delay due to a traffic accident. We had to wait 60 minutes in the blazing sun.
