Public Transport Tickets in Amsterdam

The ever changing, always suberb Rijksmuseum never ceases to conjour up awe and wonder as the jewel in the crown of the world's very best museum quarter. Usually impossible to get into at short notice without needing a second mortgage, we booked 14hrs before our excellent crowd beating 9am entry slot via the always suberb Headout.com. All at ~70% of the usual fee. Would reuse in a New York heart beat, cannot recommend highly enough.

It was easier to book with. We had easy access to the museum due to booking with Headout. No staying in line to buy tickets.

Being able to buy tickets from where I was, and at a more affordable price, was amazing; it both freed me from time and place constraints and saved me time. A fast and effective method.

On Saturday we took the canal cruise and it was very beautiful because it allowed us to see some parts of the city we hadn't visited yet and learn about the history of the place. Captain Eddy also knew how to add a touch of cheerfulness and fun. Today, on the other hand, we visited the museum dedicated to one of our favorite painters, Van Gogh. Many works are on display, and the audio guide allows you to appreciate the experience even more and immerse yourself in it. Highly recommended!

5 stars because there really is nothing to complain about. The boat was exceptionally clean and spacious. It departed from the starting point on time and returned almost exactly 60 minutes later. The audio tour was also very interesting. The length of each segment was well-chosen. The information about the various sights was presented in an engaging way. Our tour guide also made the beginning and the end of the trip fun and was very personable.

It was great to travel by tram, we hopped on and hopped off. Especially when the weather wasn't behaving! It was real easy!! Thanks GVB!!

The 3-Day GVB Pass was a fantastic choice for our trip to Amsterdam! For 72 hours, we had completely unlimited access to all public transportation in the city—whether tram, metro, or bus. The best part was the sheer spontaneity: you don’t have to worry at all about individual tickets or fare zones. After long walks along the canals, we could just hop on the nearest tram, quickly scan our ticket, and continue our journey stress-free.
