Sunset magic & cultural marvels

Your journey begins with a visit to one of Bali’s most famous landmarks, Tanah Lot, known for its picturesque backdrop and unique offshore setting. Literally translating to ‘Land in the Sea,’ the temple complex is studded with smaller shrines, and they all rest atop a large tower of rock. A third of the present rock is manmade because of the constant erosion from the ocean. Spend time exploring this manmade marvel before breaking for lunch at your own expense.

Once you’ve replenished your energy, your next stop is Pura Uluwatu, a temple located on top of a 300-foot cliff facing the Indian Ocean. Built in the 10th century, it is said that this temple is one of the most respected by the Balinese. Soak in the beautiful scenery, the silvery waves of the ocean, and the spectacular sunset views, and enjoy the amazing Kecak dance performances based on the Hindu epic, Ramayana.
