Very straight forward. Collected the ticket from the collection point that was virtually opposite the entrance to the ruins. One downside was that eventhough they were skip the que tickets we still had to line up inside to get our child's ticket. Luckily is wasn't too busy so didn't have to wait long. If it had been busy this would have defeated the object of skip the line tickets. Pompeii was amazing and the whole trip was well worth it. Thoroughly recommend.Piers

Ticket office is right next to the Zeus Car Park which has plenty of space. I can't say how long the actual queues would have been if I hadn't booked but they did seem very busy. Collection of tickets was east, quick, friendly and informative. Audio guides were explained and worked well. The site itself is, as you would expect, extraordinary. There is a cafe onsite but the queue was large and slow. They could do with a bit more provision without compromising the overall ambience of an historic place. (However this criticism has nothing to do with the Headout booking process)Lucy

The audio guide did not have all of the playlists available that were at Pompei. Not worth what we paid. Would have been better getting a tour guide for much cheaper.Rachael

Got to Pompeii slightly early but was able to collect audio guide, staff really helpful at tempo travel, tickets ready dead on 9am. Skip the line- straight in to Pompeii. Went to the back first and worked our way back to entrance . Beat the crowds- brilliant.Sarah

The skip the line was the main reason to book this and was worth it. The audio guide is a little bit complicated to navigate and plays out loud on a smart phone which is hard to see in the blaring sun. When you collect the tickets they try to upsell you to a physical guided tour. The guided tour would probably be much better but we managed to just follow the map to see the things we wanted, without using the audio guide very much.
The catastrophic eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD laid waste to the once thriving city of Pompeii, and buried it under a sea of volcanic rocks and ash. Today, the site of tragedy is a huge 50 hectares archaeological park, and one of the most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Enter directly into this site with your skip-the-line ticket that lets you bypass long waiting queues. Listen to recorded commentary as you walk around the site to gain a deeper understanding of the life of the ancient Romans who once dwelled here.
With remains that are almost perfectly preserved, you will feel as if you are walking through a city that is frozen in time. See the houses, everyday objects, and places like the Roman amphitheater and a public gym, where you can almost imagine the citizens gathering together or holding banquets. Discover the remains of frescoes, moving casts of the unsuspecting citizens and their pets, and more on this exclusive tour that can be customized as per your needs.
