We had a fantastic guidertour at Pompeii. A special thanks goes to our guide, Mr. Igor, who made the tour both engaging and informative. His knowledge of Pompeii’s history was impressive, and he had a great way of explaining things so that even our son(13yrs) could easily follow and stay interested. He brought the ancient city to life with fascinating stories, details, and insights that we would have completely missed on our own. Mr. Igor was also very friendly, patient, and attentive, making sure everyone in the group was comfortable and involved. The pace of the tour was perfect—not rushed, but still covering all the key highlights. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for all three of us. We highly recommend this guided tour, especially with Mr. Igor, to anyone visiting Pompeii

The price was cheaper than on other websites or through other intermediaries. The only downside was having to go to the office to exchange the digital tickets for physical ones in order to access the archaeological site. But everything went very smoothly. I paid for the audio guide, and well, it does provide some extra information, but it doesn’t have audio for all the areas you visit. The paper maps are outdated compared to what we actually found in the ancient city. There are areas or streets you can’t walk through because they’re fenced off or under construction. This makes it difficult to plan your route for the visit.

We hadn't been told that once purchased on this website, the admission tickets had to be picked up at a travel agency located at the second entrance to the Pompeii site, across from the train station. After a 20-minute walk, we were able to get them. It’s a fabulous site worth seeing; you can easily spend the whole day there. There are places to eat inside, but they’re a bit pricey. You can bring your own snacks.

Overall, everything went perfectly; the staff was very helpful and there were no delays whatsoever. I’m deducting one star because of the ticket office’s location. After arriving by train, we had to walk a mile to the ticket office. That wasn’t clear to me when I bought the tickets. Pompeii is definitely worth a visit, and I would book it through Headout again.

Comparing my visits between Pompei and Herculaneum .. Pompei is huge and would need 3 days to see everything. I had a day pass and didn't even see a quarter of the site. Whereas Hereculeum is much smaller and not so damaged. Beautiful frescos. Mosaic floors and buildings. Stunning. If you are really limited for time visit Herculeum only. Wear comfortable shoes and take water to both sites.

Pompeii in and of itself is amazing. So much history and interesting facts to be learned. Our guide, spoke so quickly and without interest or enthusiasm thus we quickly became board. This might have been do to the fact that we as a family had done some research ahead of time? The experience was just less than we had hoped for.

When we found the ticket office, which is a 20 minute walk from the station, we were told that the audio guide would not work as there is no WiFi . This means we should buy a book for 16 euro

Easy access, even though it's a bit far from the station. A wonderful experience—Pompeii is truly magical, authentic, and well-organized.
