Nice experience and happy to support the penguin research but unfortunately it was flooded by asian people who do not respect the rules, come late and obviously are not really interested in whats going on. In my opinion there should be a stop of entry at a certain time and the officials should be much more strict with people which use their phone despite telling them 3 times not to use it!

Your page offered exactly the information we needed to plan and enjoy our stay. We felt we had enough guidance from you to really enhance our experience. the 3 Park Pass was cheaper than individually buyng tickets and is valid for 6 months- very important if the weather is changeable.

loved it but people at the penguin parade need to be controlled more. In the seated area, there were enough workers to control photography but when you are leaving, so many people are taking flash photos right in front of the penguins face. it was disrespectful

As a proud Victorian, I am ashamed to say I hadn't visited the Island for 40 years. I know!!! What a terrible example. The three ticket experience was just perfect for myself and my friend and we enjoyed every moment of it. The penguin parade ran like clockwork, it was just an ordinary week night but I figured there would have been 1500 people there , all totally enthralled, all waiting patiently. We visited the Heritage Farm the next morning, but had totally underestimated the time we would spend there. What a magnificent place to visit, the animals, the gardens it was like stepping back 150 yrs, we stayed three hours. The Koala's were a highlight, seeing them in their own habitat was spectacular, they are just the cutest creatures. The grounds, the very modern buildings and at all venues were a credit to the custodians and all the staff. WELL DONE!!! Elaine Rae

Honestly I share my experience that it is not that we expected . Indicated time of return of Penguines (though not controlled) is very late 8.25 PM, it is very low lighting leaving us , no visibility of penguines. With oftien alerts of no camera usage, we cant able to see through phone torch as well. Lighting at seating arragmeent also very poor ., in that cold outside. Not worth at Parade but churchill land & caves are good to see

  • Meet Australia’s most iconic marsupials at the Koala Conservation Reserve

Enjoy a peaceful and educational day immersed in native bushland at the Koala Conservation Reserve on Phillip Island. With your entry ticket, you’ll stroll along treetop boardwalks and come face-to-face with koalas in their natural habitat. Surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees, the reserve offers a unique opportunity to observe these sleepy creatures eating, resting, and interacting with their environment.

    Explore the natural bushland trails

In addition to close-up koala encounters, the reserve is home to other native wildlife, including wallabies, echidnas, and bird species. The accessible trails, informative visitor centre, and ranger-led talks deepen your understanding of koala biology and ongoing conservation efforts.

Upgrade to the 3 Parks Pass

For a fuller nature experience, choose the 3 Parks Pass and gain access to Phillip Island’s top attractions:

    • Penguin Parade: Cap off your day with the world-famous Penguin Parade, where you’ll see little penguins waddle ashore at sunset from the general viewing platform.

    • Churchill Island: Step into history at this heritage farm and explore centuries-old cottages, traditional farming demonstrations, and scenic coastal walks.

    Penguin Parade upgrades

    • Penguins Plus: Enjoy VIP views from a limited-capacity, beachfront platform set along the penguins’ most-used pathway—offering the closest and most personal viewing experience of the parade.

    • Underground viewing: Stay cozy in the weatherproof underground viewing platform and watch the evening penguin parade at eye level. This fully sheltered option places you just inches from the penguins’ path, making for intimate and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Whether you're exploring the treetop trails of the Koala Conservation Reserve or experiencing the full 3 Parks adventure, this is an ideal way to connect with Australia's wildlife and natural beauty.
