Buying the tickets in advance made the entry to the castle much simpler than quieting to use the auto machines which were dotted along the walk to the castle. The castle itself is fabulous outside and in and well worth a visit. The drive up the mountain was spectacular. We ate at one of the restaurants by the entrance which was also very good and not as expensive as you might expect given how close it is to the castle. The only issue is parking so allow extra time for that. We ended up parking on the roadside a few hundred metres from the castle up the hill since the car parks were full, the hill is pretty steep all around so it is worth looking around to get as close as you can. A great day out.

Its easy to buy tickets from this site, and its was easy entering castle with it, only bad thing were some rude workers in castle, castle is much more beautiful inside than outside, outside it needs renovation, just come 30-40 minutes earlier and stand in line, to enter first.

Well, starting with the guide and team we had, add an special touch. The castle is beyond outstanding, I've been to many castles in many countries and cities and Peleș castle definitely stands out with all the attention to details and ornaments, it's so pretty and enchanting. Besides all the history and art, makes it unique. Super recommend.

Peles Castle

Built in the late 19th century, Peles Castle is a landmark of Romanian heritage, set against the Carpathian Mountains in Sinaia. This royal residence is celebrated for its blend of Neo-Renaissance architecture and rich historical significance.

Aditional information

Photo taxes are not included in the price and can be purchased directly at the door for 35 lei per person (approximately €7.50).

Everyday, between 12:30pm and 1pm, a break is introduced for disinfecting surfaces and ventilating exhibition spaces.

During the visit, please maintain silence and decorum, since this is a cultural institution.

To make your visit easier, you can leave clothes, umbrellas, backpacks or other personal items in the museum's wardrobe.

A decent outfit is expected when you visit the museum.

The Peles National Museum does not manage parking for visitors.
