Tickets to Palacio de las Dueñas with Audio Guide

When we arrived, I showed our reservation to the woman at the entrance, who printed our tickets for us. The tour was spectacular—the gardens were beautiful, there were so many incredible details, and both the exhibition and the apartment were absolutely wonderful. We went right when it opened to take advantage of the cool morning air, and we were glad we did—we spent three wonderful hours there.

Getting into the site is easy once you realize that you need to present your reservation number at the entrance to the monument you want to visit, and that tickets are issued there! The instructions provided on the website are unclear.

Of all the places in Seville, this was one of the most atmospheric. Not a huge palace where you find yourself checking your watch after twenty minutes, but a place where you’re happy to linger and simply wander through at your own pace. Beautiful courtyards, many lovely details, and at the same time that sense of history and lived life. I was particularly impressed by the photographs of the Duchess: not stiff or staged like in a museum, but lively, stylish, and full of personality. It is precisely through these images that the house feels completely different—like a place where people truly lived, loved, welcomed guests, and made history. The audio guide was very well designed: enough background to put everything into context, but without being overloaded with facts and figures. At some point, I stopped taking pictures and just looked. In the end, I didn’t feel like I’d just seen another tourist attraction, but rather that I’d gotten a little closer to Seville. For me, it’s definitely one of the most impressive places in the city.

I visited the Palacio de las Dueñas today and had such a great experience. First of all, there was no line to enter, which made the visit smooth and pleasant right from the start.
