A museum for the whole family, where the youngest visitors can learn about different mechanisms (piston engines, electricity, etc.) in a fun way. Older visitors will also be interested in the Universe (Elementa). Humanity is explored with Humania, which demonstrates the influence of our genes and our environment, making each of us a unique human being. A great time with our big teens!

We had got tickets for the early afternoon. Unfortunately, it was very crowded so we couldn't do everything. The guides start emptying the departments half an hour before closing time. It was still a great experience and we will definitely be back again

The Chain Reaction on the 1st floor - a lot of engineering and aesthetic design went into creating the set. And the presenter was great, and it was obvious she herself enjoyed every minute of it. The rest of 1st floor, and all others, had that same combo of science and pleasure for the eyes and ears and fingers. Rooftop restaurant was nice with a great view, 4th floor (about us humans) had the right level of scientific depth and entertainment, we had little time for the 3rd floor, the labs on the 2nd - simple, hands on, exciting. Again, a lot of design thinking went into them (in college I had 5 different chemistry-related subjects).

I compare it with similar institutions in Kyiv - Experimentanium, and Warsaw - Kopiernikpark. Absolutely not worth the money I paid. It looks like a large playroom, which are popular in large cities of Ukraine, and the level of exhibits reminds me of the Mad Professor's Laboratory and the Museum of Funny Science in Odesa. This is a good play area for 4-8 year olds, no more. If you are interested in this topic, fly to Warsaw to Kopiernik Park and be sure to visit the Kyiv Experimentarium for hour-long themed science shows like the Tesla show with a huge Tesla coil and the show with the influence of sound waves on fire and the like. This is the popularization of real science! I had much higher expectations for 70 euros for three of us... in two hours we managed to see absolutely all the exhibits and we didn't see anything exciting related to science Maybe after

Visiting the NEMO Science Museum was an absolute delight! It’s a place where science truly comes alive — interactive exhibits, fun experiments, and a rooftop view that beautifully captures Amsterdam’s charm. It’s not just for kids; even adults can rediscover their curiosity here. After exploring NEMO, the Canal Cruise was the perfect way to unwind and see the city from a different perspective. Gliding through the picturesque canals, watching the iconic bridges and historic houses pass by, felt magical. The audio guide added interesting stories and facts, making the ride both relaxing and informative. Together, these experiences offered the perfect blend of learning, leisure, and local culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam — a must-do combo that makes the trip truly memorable! 🌷🚤✨
