We had a fantastic visit to the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam! I went with my 13-year-old son, and he absolutely loved all the hands-on experiments. The variety of exhibits is impressive, keeping him fully engaged the entire time. It balances fun and learning perfectly. We ended up spending 6 wonderful hours there, and every minute was worth it. It’s a brilliant place for curious minds of all ages. Highly recommended

Everything about the Nemo Science Museum was great from the opening bubble area to the lab exploration with scientists that were incredibly helpful. Fun games like the meteor shield made it interactive, the quizzes and tests to discover who you are on the human floor captivated my children. Also the restaurant food was of a good quality with lots of seating and a great view.

Very interesting museum, great for kids. Fabulous layout. Its similar to We The Cuious in Bristol UK. I was worried at first that it was aimed at a a younger audience and my 16 & 18 yo kids wouldn't find it engaging but as soon as we reached the section on human bodies they engaged pretty quickly and were competing to see who had the strongest grip strength, quickest reaction time and ability to endure cold. We were only there about an hour but those with younger kids could be there much longer exploring all the interactive exhibits

It was a fabulous experience. The best part for my 4-year-old daughter was the part with the bubbles—and especially when she was “enveloped” by a bubble. There were some truly wonderful games, and my daughter was so impressed by everything that she didn’t want to leave! Since we also had a stroller for our other 4-month-old daughter, we really appreciated being able to get around using the elevators! Thank you for the wonderful experience! We had lunch on the upper floor, and then, feeling very sad, we left.

Last week
We visited the museum with two children, ages 7 and 10, and they really enjoyed the activities there; they were entertained all morning. The only downside was that it was very crowded, and we had to wait in line for some things; perhaps they could adjust the number of tickets sold a bit.

Within walking distance of Central Station. Fantastic for kids. They get to try everything out for themselves. Even adults can learn something here. I highly recommend it.
