Despite a cancellation on Wednesday due to strong winds, we were able to explore the site on Friday. The only small downside was that when it was canceled, we had already been in Pompeii for two hours, and we only found out about the postponement or refund at the meeting time. If we had been notified by text, we could have left and enjoyed our day differently. So that needs improvement. Otherwise, the site is well worth a visit!

I thought it was free for children under 6 because no option was offered. On the day, the four of us couldn't visit the volcano because we didn't have tickets for my 3-year-olds. In short, my husband stayed at the base of the volcano with my daughter. It spoiled the experience a bit. But I have to admit the gentleman from the agency was great because he still let us try to get in.

Pompei is a wonderful historical artifact which was extremely interesting. We arrived early (9.00am) when it was quieter and not so hot, so we were able to have great views without too many people. We had a 3 hour wander around the streets and saw many different properties. It was all fascinating and we really enjoyed our visit
