Visitors can also purchase tickets for the cloister and other areas of the monastery from the ticket office inside the church.

The Cloister Entrance
This entrance is located on the left-hand side of the monastery and requires a paid ticket to enter. It leads directly into the cloister, which is a peaceful and beautiful space with intricate stonework and gargoyles. Visitors can also access the church from the cloister.
- General Timings: Jeronimos monastery hours are 10.00 am to 05.30 pm from October to April and 10.00 am to 06.30 pm from May to September.
- Last Admission: The attractions start to close 30 minutes before the closing time. The last entry from October to April is 05.00 pm and from May to September is 06.00 pm.
- Closed: The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, 1st January, Easter Sunday, 1st May, and 25th December.
- Duration of Visit: The Jerónimos Monastery is known for its Refectory Hall, the Chapter House, the Tomb of Vasco da Gama, and the Confessionals. It will take around 2 to 3 hours to explore Jerónimos Monastery based on the schedule.
There are accessible toilets located on the ground floor and upper floors.
Audio guides are available in several languages, including Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Mandarin. These audio guides provide information about the history and architecture of the monastery.
There is a ramped entrance with a handrail leading to the ticket office and main courtyard.
