Dee was great, very knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. We didn't feel rushed, she gave us lots of time to take pictures. She made sure the pace of the tour suited everyone. She communicated before the tour through What's app which was helpful. One of the highlights had to be the visit to the Pasteiis de Belem factory and the sampling of the original monk's recipe egg custard tarts. Would highly recommend this experience.

Our tour guide Beatrice was so friendly and knowledgeable on our jeronimos Monastery tour (english speaking) in Portugal. She was caring and relaxed and instantly made everyone comfortable. The headsets were great and I could hear everything she said. I would highly recommend this tour and also Beatrice as the tour guide! I would use headout again and highly recommend this tour company to my friends.

We loved our visit to the monastery with Solal. We learned so much about the place and its history, and our guide was able to answer all our questions! The tasting of the Pastéis de Belém was also very nice. Be warned, though: on Sundays, the church is reserved for services all morning, so we weren't able to visit it.

Everything was very impressive. But above all, I truly appreciate the extraordinary work of our Spanish-speaking guide, Simone Silva. She gave an entertaining and well-informed account of the building, its architecture, its history, its relationship with the Portuguese kings, etc. If there's anyone I should thank for the quality of our visit, it's Simone Silva.

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour of the Jerónimos Monastery with Miguel! The meeting point was easy to find, and having early access to the monastery was absolutely fabulous. Having Miguel accompany us throughout the visit made the experience even more enjoyable and informative. We also loved the added bonus of touring the pastry factory and, of course, enjoying a delicious sweet treat at the end of the tour! It was the perfect way to finish an already wonderful experience. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you want to experience the monastery with a knowledgeable and personable guide!

The monastery is beautiful in itself, the cloister is a real gem, it looks like lace! Our guide Anna was absolutely perfect, very knowledgeable about everything; she explained really interesting details and features of the decorations. Plus, she is a very friendly and kind person!

The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, 1st January, Easter Sunday, 1st May, and 25th December.

Due to ongoing renovations, the Belém Tower is closed to visitors until the end of 2026.
