Okay, so I’m not usually a tour person but the Express Tour Madrid was actually SO much fun. My sister and I hopped in the tuk tuk (never been in one before, felt like big kids) and our guide Anna was just the sweetest. She told us these totally random facts about the Royal Palace (did you know it has like 3,000 rooms?!) and we zipped past the Prado which is huuuuge, but didn’t have to wait in any lines because, well, tuk tuk. It was raining but they had blankets and plastic covers, so we stayed cozy. Only thing: Madrid traffic is wild and we got stuck for 10 minutes near Gran Via, but Anna kept us laughing. Would 100% do this again if I’m ever back. Btw, if you’re tall, watch your head getting in lol.

Took the Express Tour with my parents who don’t walk much anymore. The tuk tuk was comfy and the driver slowed down at the main sights so Mom could get her pics (she’s obsessed). Retiro Park looked so GREEN in spring! Bit noisy at Plaza Mayor with a street band but it added to the vibe. Only wished the guide’s mic was a tad louder in the back. Def worth it if you want a quick city view.

First time in Madrid and honestly had no clue where to start so I booked this tour. Was solo (awkward?) but the guide Carlos made me feel totally welcome. We stopped by the Market of San Miguel and he suggested the best tortilla spot nearby for after. Loved zooming down side streets—I got to see stuff I’d never find on my own. Weather was HOT but tuk tuk had a little fan, nice touch!

Was expecting a bit more info about the buildings we passed, but maybe I just like nerdy history. The tuk tuk was fun for a change! Some bumpy bits on the road though. Our guide was friendly. 60 minutes is short but good if ur attention span is like mine.

We did this with two kids (7/10 yrs) and they LOVED it, especially ringing the little bell at stops. The driver was patient and pointed out all the Disney movie locations (my daughter’s thing). Felt a bit rushed around the Prado but otherwise, no complaints. Heads up: can’t take pics inside the tuk tuk while moving, too shaky!
