Seeing The Book of Mormon was hands-down one of the funniest theatre experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, it’s outrageously bold, brilliantly written, and packed with laugh-out-loud moments that don’t let up. The music is insanely catchy (you’ll be humming it all the way home), and the cast delivers pure energy, charm, and comedic perfection. What really makes it stand out is how it balances shock humor with surprising heart—it’s clever, cheeky, and unexpectedly uplifting. Whether you’re a theatre lover or just looking for a night of unforgettable entertainment, this show absolutely delivers.

Watching The Book of Mormon in London is a high-octane masterclass in musical satire. The show kicks off with the undeniably catchy "Hello," setting a polished, high-energy tone for a soundtrack that stays in your head long after the curtain falls. The cast is absolutely stellar, delivering every punchline with razor-sharp timing, while the hilariously irreverent "Hasa Diga Eebowai" stands out as a comedic peak that perfectly captures the production's bold, unapologetic wit.

I finally caught a performance of The Book of Mormon and it lived up to every bit of the hype. The writing is sharp and hilarious, but what really blew me away was the talent on stage—the singing and choreography were top-tier. It pushes boundaries in the best way possible. If you want a musical that doesn't take itself too seriously but delivers a high-quality production, this is it.

A very entertaining show, full of satirical and biting jokes. I really appreciated the actors’ talent; it’s no surprise that the theater has been staging this show for years. The actors speak very clearly, making it accessible even to non-native English speakers like me.

I laughed throughout this performance. The show does not take itself too seriously - lyrics are hysterical, dancing actually added to the story and the humour. Definitely not for those who are offended by off colour language or other adult topics 😉
    • From the minds behind South Park and Avenue Q comes this riotously funny musical that pokes fun at faith, pop culture, and everything in between.

    • A Broadway smash hit and West End favourite, it has swept 9 Tony awards, 4 Olivier awards and a Grammy for the Best Musical Theater album.

    • It is created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with Frozen’s Robert Lopez (yes, that’s the guy behind "Let It Go").

    • Expect outrageous comedy, brilliant choreography, and songs like Hasa Diga Eebowai. Book The Book of Mormon London tickets to join the irreverent gospel.

    The story

Elder Price is ambitious, clean-cut, and dreaming of Orlando. Elder Cunningham is… not. Together, they're sent to a Ugandan village to spread the word of Mormonism, but warlords, disease, and disbelief stand in their way. As faith clashes with reality, hilarity ensues, and a new kind of gospel emerges. Want to know if every day really can be a latter day? Only one way to find out.

    Critics reviews

    Evening Standard

“Packed with sharp wit, catchy songs, and jaw-dropping satire — it’s a rare musical that leaves audiences laughing nonstop.”

    The Guardian
